Conn. Opposes Bill to Stop Common Core

HARTFORD, Connecticut — Despite complaints from teachers across Connecticut about the rollout of new education standards and guidelines, a parade of education officials on Wednesday urged state lawmakers to oppose efforts to delay its implementation.
