We write to transmit the attached guidance document on the Uninterrupted Scholars Act (USA)
(Public Law 112-278), which was signed into law by President Barack Obama on January 14,
2013, and which amends Section 444 of the General Education Provisions Act (20 U.S.C.
§ 1232g) (commonly known as the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)).
