Why Are We Cheating Public Charters Out of Funding?

You wouldn’t pay steakhouse prices for a fast-food burger, would you? Didn’t think so. So, why do we send the lion’s share of our public K-12 education dollars to schools that can’t keep up with the financially lean education machines that outperform them?
