It's Underemployment, Stupid
It's a tough job market for recent college graduates. The share who've found full-time work within six months of leaving college is the lowest since the Class of 2020 entered the labor force at the heart of the pandemic, according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers. For all the alarm about unemployment, though, the real issue for young college-educated workers might not be getting a job but landing the right one.
