Yale Narrows Its Mission Statement to Focus on Knowledge
A new Yale mission statement excludes the goal of "improving the world" and other language included in its precursor, in line with a faculty committee's recent proposal to rebuild public trust. The statement was changed on Thursday, according to Yale President Maurie McInnis.
