DOJ Says Yale Med School Discriminates by Race

The United States Department of Justice concluded that the Yale School of Medicine violated federal law by discriminating based on race in its admissions process. The finding comes after a yearlong DOJ investigation into the medical school's admissions practices in light of the Supreme Court's 2023 ruling that bars universities from considering an applicant's race in admissions decisions.
